These rental terms apply to all bookings with Gear Rental PH.
1. Bookings
A booking is requested online via checkout or by contacting us. A booking is confirmed only once full payment and the security deposit are received and we have acknowledged availability for your dates.
2. Payment & security deposit
Full payment and a security deposit are required to confirm a booking. The security deposit is returned after your activity, provided equipment is returned complete and in good working condition.
3. Rental period & working time
Standard rental covers up to 20 hours per day. Working time is up to 10 hours per day, counted from pull-out to return. Extended hours or additional days are billed accordingly.
4. Care, loss & damage
You are responsible for the equipment while it is in your care. Misuse, loss, or accidental damage is subject to billing at repair or replacement cost. Required manpower must be observed for operated gear.
5. Manpower
Manpower (operators, technicians, gaffer, audioman, drivers, assistants) may be required or requested. Manpower rates vary depending on the scope of work and are quoted per booking.
6. Exclusions
Unless stated otherwise, quotes exclude food, transportation, accommodation, health, and permit fees. These are for the client's account.
7. Discounts
Discounts may apply for multiple-day rentals and multiple equipment. Student rates are available for qualified thesis films and student theater.
8. Cancellation
Cancellations may affect the security deposit depending on timing and any costs already incurred. Contact us as early as possible if your schedule changes.
9. Liability
Gear Rental PH is not liable for indirect losses arising from equipment use or availability. Our liability is limited to the rental fee paid for the affected item.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
